April '23 Local Heroes


Local Hero is a celebration and recognition of those who go above and beyond.

Each of the nominated local heroes receive a £50 token of our appreciation as a thank-you for everything they do.





David Smith, Lewis Hoare, Lesley Fenton & Stacey Robinson | South Devon College

“I would like to nominate David Smith, Lewis Hoare, Lesley Fenton and Stacey Robinson for the support and commitment they have shown during their line managers, Emily Bryant’s Maternity Leave.


All 4 Supervisors have really stepped up and supported the contract doing a sterling job. Thank you all, we appreciate what you do for South Devon College and your fellow employees.”

“Unfortunately, Clare has had some serious health issues and as a result has endured ongoing intensive treatment. Despite Clare’s health issues, she has displayed an amazing positive attitude and dedication to her role as supervisor and is an inspiration to all who come in to contact with her. She is our local hero.”
