At Glen Group, we plant trees as part of our commitment to sustainability and community empowerment, in collaboration with the United Nations-inspired Trillion Trees Campaign and Gift Trees.

Every tree we plant helps remove approximately one tonne of CO₂ over its lifetime. But the benefits go far beyond carbon offsetting.

Our trees play a vital role in restoring biodiversity, repairing soil, and reversing desertification. They’re planted primarily in emerging nations and areas recovering from natural disasters—such as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions—where they have the greatest impact.

These trees not only help clean the air and produce oxygen, but many also bear fruit and nuts, providing a sustainable food source for local communities. Others offer shade, shelter, firewood, timber, and habitat for wildlife, supporting and enriching the local ecosystem and food chain.

Beyond the environment, the trees support people. High-yield harvests supply food and livestock fodder, while surplus produce is sold to fund healthcare and education. Communities are taught how to farm and propagate, giving them skills that lead to income opportunities and even small-scale farming businesses.

The trees also become part of everyday life—places for children to learn about nature and simply enjoy being outdoors.

Every tree planted through Glen Group is a step toward a greener planet and a stronger, more self-sufficient community.
