Involvement campaigns

Our 2024 word was “Involvement”. Our aim was to engage with employees on things that mattered to them at work to improve how we do things at Glen.  We recognise that this type of activity and engagement improves labour turnover, which is borne out in our numbers which are YTD 15% labour turnover and 25% last year.


This also creates the team culture that we strive for. Employees enjoy this activity, they participate in our pulse surveys, read our newsletters and emails. We also recognise that this also helps our managers engage in the manner we wish.


Here are a few things we accomplished across the business as part of our Involvement campaign:



Recognised milestones with our Service Awards, which celebrated and recognised 243 people in 2024, highlighting their contribution to Glen and next year  we want to invite you to share memories of those being celebrated.



Local Heroes, our employees love this and it is the most read item monthly on our App, we have now been praising our Heroes for 4 years and will continue to do this in 2025.



95% of employees who took part in our 'What Do You Think' survey said they enjoyed our Glen Aware training and we have continued to develop our programme, to make it easier for employees to be trained and for refresher training.


We listened to our team about our changing payroll calendar and in 2025 will introduce a simplified system to give them a better experience.



Uniforms, our survey said, they wanted to keep polo shirts but with a better fit and we have worked with our manufacturer to improve sizing and fit, we have also looked at other materials and hope this will meet the needs of those who wear them.
