Following a relatively modest increase of 2.2% in 2021, which sought to recognise that businesses were contending with the economic fallout from the pandemic, on April ‘22 the National Living Wage (NLW) rose by 6.6% to £9.50. It is considered that on April ‘23 it will be c £10.14 ( to be confirmed).
In many places with your support, we have been able to introduce the Real Living Wage and in times of economic uncertainty this has been invaluable. We do our very best to minimise the risk of in-work poverty, but we await to hear details from the new Chancellor.
We are continuing to encourage our employees to download the Glen Employee App.
All employees who use our Time & attendance system will also be eligible to participate in Wagestream, which will allow them access to 40% of pay as soon as they have pinned in and out of your planned shift on the time & attendance system.
