As we step into 2025, we’re excited to share some fantastic news: we’ve increased the number of trees we plant each month. This means an even greater positive impact on the environment and a stronger commitment to sustainability! We plant our trees in conjunction with the United Nations-inspired Trillion Trees Campaign and Gift Trees. Every tree sequesters a tonne of CO2 in its lifetime.
It also promotes biodiversity and helps with soil repair and the reversal of decertified land. High yield harvests provide a regular food source, livestock fodder and surplus sold for income to provide healthcare and education. Every tree contributes to a sustainable community. The trees are planted primarily in emerging nations and regions recovering from environmental disasters such as flood, earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions.
They are planted not only to absorb carbon and produce oxygen, but many of the species also produce fruit and nuts to supply food for the local communities.
They also provide shade, shelter, fuel, timber for building and furniture.
They add wildlife habitat that increases and improves the food chain.
Their root systems help to enrich the soil, prevent desertification, and reduce flood risk.
They also provide a place for children to learn about nature – and simply have fun.
